Do you guys like my poem?

For a 13-yr-old you are really, really good. I hope you keep a journal and write every day; we only learn how to do this by practicing. Also, read lots and lots of good poetry; your teacher or librarian can help you find stuff that is appropriate for your age. I would suggest putting this aside for a while, a couple of weeks maybe, and re-read it after some of the emotion has ped. That way, you can look at it with a more critical eye. As you revise, pay attention to the rhythm and be very careful to avoid cliche's; remember, if you have heard it before, so has everyone else ("floating on a fake cloud" is one example). You have a lot of potential, keep working on it!
