Does asking about men's rights make a woman an idiot?

A few days ago I asked about who was responsible for men losing their rights to women and it seemed that someone saw my question as moronic. Was it a bad thing to ask about men's rights and are some women so blind that they would insult than really look at and question laws and Feminism? Being insulted is par for the course here and is no skin off my nose, but it irks me that some people refuse to open their minds and consider all possibilities and outcomes of laws pertaining to men and women.
