GUYS- IS THIS POSSIBLE FOR A GIRL?

If my love of my life of a year and a half, his love of his life too, broke up with me because of reasons that didn't have to do with me really. We talked through it on text message and he was understanding, but said he likes someone else. I completely did all of the wrong things!!! Like everything NOT to say. Its been around two months, we might see eachother soon. THE QUESTION IS, IF I SAID ALL THE THINGS NOT TO SAY DURING THE BREAKUP LIKE ACTING DESPERATE NEEDY AND POOR PITIFUL ME, DO YOU THINK HE CAN FORGET ABOUT ALL THAT AND JUST START OVER? CAN I JUST BE ME AGAIN AND HE'LL FORGET ABOUT ALL THAT DESPERATE TALK?
