I have a relationship problem and I don't know if it can be fixed?

I've been seen this person on and off. He's one of the top executive at his firm and I'm ...well, more into the arts. We come from the same social background. our area of interests are a bit differnt...he's into politics and i'm a bit inept to that area..i'm more so into social issues. I feel that I'm more understanding and he wants to but having struggles with being in touch with ppl of their cl and culture..I strongly feel its bc of the kind of ppl he is exposed to. The kind of ppl he is around are the golf club kind of ppl. I'm open to all. I don't like to act like a phoney baloney or kiss anyone's a.ss to get ahead, i feel that he might be. I know i seem like i'm just describing me and him separately...its just that I feel that our differnt views in life might cause problem or he'll feel that I won't fit in with his peers. We are very much so attracted to each othe. I still blush when I see him. Will this cause problem...i'm nervous
