Would it be tacky if i used candle holders as a centerpiece and favors for my wedding?

I am getting married in May. As a centerpiece we want to put tea-lights (or the fake ones) in holders in a heart shape on the tables, along with some rose pedals. We have a loft area and it would look really cool from above. Would it be tacky if we etch the candle holders with a message and use them on the tables. And when the people leave they can be the favors.
