They forgot that I was there?

i was at my friends b-day party and it was me and like 5 other people and the girl who's birthday it was, was not talking to me or my other friend and she was like oh i was just about to say where is brenda? she forgot i was in the room! it made me feel so bad because i know i am quiet but she didn't even know i was there! what do i do?
