I need to know if birth control effects teen girls with cerebral palsy?

My daughter just turned 14 and has been ually active,she has a mild form of cerebral palsy and I want her on birth control but i am not sure if it will cause problems because of her handicap?? I guess I could ask a doctor and I am sure I will but was just curious about it tonight.thank you
