I have a relationship problem and I don't know if it can be fixed?

I've been seen this person on and off. He's one of the top executive at his firm and I'm ...well, more into the arts. We come from the same social background. our area of interests are a bit differnt...he's into politics and i'm a bit inept to that area..i'm more so into social issues. I feel that I'm more understanding and he wants to but having struggles with being in touch with ppl of their cl and culture..I strongly feel its bc of the kind of ppl he is exposed to. The kind of ppl he is around are the golf club kind of ppl. I'm open to all. I don't like to act like a phoney baloney or kiss anyone's a.ss to get ahead, i feel that he might be. I know i seem like i'm just describing me and him separately...its just that I feel that our differnt views in life might cause problem or he'll feel that I won't fit in with his peers. We are very much so attracted to each othe. I still blush when I see him. Will this cause problem...i'm nervous

Why do Christians make "God of the Gaps" arguments?

Christianity is very adept at positing false dichotomies. Pascal's Wager is one example of that. So too are "God of the Gaps" arguments. These occur when people insert "God" as the answer to any phenomenon for which we have yet to determine a definitive explanation. Even if such arguments were compelling -- they are not, by the way -- how do they get us any further than a Deistic concept of God? It is quite a stretch for someone to say, "The universe must have a Creator; therefore, it's got to be Jesus!" Why couldn't the Creator be Vishnu or Odin? Can Christians prove that the Creator isn't Vishnu or Odin? I won't hold my breath on that one.

This is a question out of curiosity, but i have a year old labradoodle that is spoiled to death and is treated extremely well and I got her from a pretty sketchy breeder when she was 7 weeks old, and I never really noticed until today that she is terrified of lawn mowers. I was mowing the lawn today and I had the lawn mower sitting between my dads SUV and my house, with about 5 feet for me to walk through with out touching the mower and so I grabbed my dogs collar and started walking to the yard and when I got about 6 feet away from the mower my dog started shaking and her tail went in between her legs and she started crying and she wanted to go back into the backyard. I Had to pick up my 76 pound dog and carry her around the mower, she was that scared. I was wondering are all dogs terrified of mowers or do you think my dog was some how abused or hurt involving a lawnmower before I got her?

Okay i live in PA. Im 20 i got dui last year. I got accepted into the ARD program and completed it. If u complete it succesfully which i did, then u can get ur record expunged. AFter i complete the papers and pay the $60 fee to get it expunged, can i get new car insurance without the insurance companies knowning i got dui. I have a tendency to prejudge people who are "cute" I always ume they would be mean, not just girls but guys. So far in my life, I have honestly had more "cute" people be nice to me than "ugly" ones. My landlord has apparently abandoned the property that I am renting. I was in the process of finding another dwelling when I recieved papers in the mail stating that he is being sued for non payment of property taxes dating back to 2005! The paper also stated that payment arrangements can be made in order to avoid court proceedings. If I pay the taxes is it correct that he has 90-120 days to repay me or he forfiets the property over to me?

I would say yes but I'm not sure because I am not dyslexic and I don't know anyone with dyslexia but I am a bit informed about it. My best answer is to tell your parent or guardian to take you to a doctor to get checked. Also, you should explain to your teachers why you are failing. I've heard of some tutors that help dyslexic kids with their homework and help them in general with the dyslexia. And a little advice if you have dyslexia, don't get scared be strong and you'll be normal :D

Why are these employers not responding to my resume submissions for reporting job? (see more info in details)?

I know that jobs are scarce right now, but if an employers posts an ad that their company is hiring for a particular position and asks for resumes to be sent to their particular address, I'd think they wouldn't find it bothersome when someone actually does that. I was an english major in college, and I worked as a freelance reporter (on a regular basis) for a large, highly prestigious newspaper in town while pursuing my undergrad. Since then, I have been writing part-time for a magazine that advertises the town where I live. I have plenty of experience and education. I am "fresh out of college" and I don't have any "permanent" professional writing experience to put on my resume, but I do have excellent writing samples and excellent references. Why in the world aren't any of these places calling me back?? Even if I'm not first pick, I'd think at least a few of these employers would find me worthy of a "no thanks." Even after I try to send a follow-up e-mail, letter, etc., I get no response. Does anybody have any ideas about why this is happening? I bought a Graco quattro tour duo stroller and it was terrible. I had to struggle to push it over every little crack in the sidewalk or ever rock in the road. The owner has own posting for yahoo reviews and creates fake yahoo IDs to post 5 star reviews for owner's business....then uses these fake IDs to give the competition negative and false reviews. Also reports any negative reviews for owners site to Yahoo, who then removes them. One of the negative reviews owner had removed was information regarding a legal infraction (owner is licensed and violated terms of the state board and was prosecuted for such). Anything to do to stop these negative reviews of the competition, and false positive reviews/postings of the owner's site?

I am a solo artist writing material for a new album and went to an open mic night to play a few songs and listen to the musical climate of this small city. I was surprised to hear every act that got up to play was a complete Jack Johnson, John Mayer, white boy blues rip-off it was really mind-numbing. I do like both of those guys but it is out of control how everyone with an acoustic guitar now tries to emulate them. I burn citrus fragrance oils at home, work, and I have a car air freshener and they help a bit. Tell your friend to go to Motherhood Maternity and buy "preggy pops" they've got ginger in them and it's all natural. I buy the "preggy drops" because I don't like the flavors in the lollipops, but I like the little hard candies. those work well too....And if none of that helps, then the old fashioned ginger ale or sprite with saltines or pretzels. I can tell you that I'd have cut your mother out of my life years ago, but that's based on my personality and experience. You have to do what seems right to you. I think you've really gone out of your way to help your mother, and she doesn't appreciate either you or your help. How much more of her abuse can you handle? As to the level of your intoxication... you had (the equivalent) about 5 beers. if you drove a car and were caught... you could *definitely* be expected to face DWI charges. Don't do it! Use a pencil with a soft formula that goes on easy. I like MAC for eyeliners and shadows. They have good, high pigment colors. You can apply it in small strokes, almost like stippling, as close to the lashes as possible until it's filled in. Finding the right shape for your eye may just be a matter of practice. After that, apply a dark shadow over the eyeliner with an angle brush and blend it out a bit. This will set the liner and give it the slight smokey look like your pictures.

Simple ways to overcome a "plateau"?

I have been lifting free weights for 3 months and so far all i have been doing is curls and bench press....which i do simultaneously every other day. I also threw squatting into my routine. My equipment is limited...only a rusty old bench and a dumbbell with the usual ortment of weights for it. While i am clearly getting stronger and able to lift more and do more reps at heavier weight i am concerned about being stuck on a plateau. My main interest is muscle m, i dont want to diet although i do try to eat things like eggs, tuna fish, beans potatoes ect.. for protein. Other than the position of my hands on the bar, what are some tips to help shock my muscles into getting stronger? And also some other tips would be good...i am a serious lifter but with limited means, financially you could say.

I have had an EEG and a quantitative EEG and each showed significant Theta waves in the temporal regions of my brain. I also had blood tests that showed elevated liver enzyme levels, which mean liver damage of some kind. Looking at Wikipedia it says that excess Theta waves are an indication of Metabolic Encephalopathy and when I look up metabolic encephalopathy on Google I found a site that says metabolic encephalopathy is caused by a problem with the liver where toxins build up in the blood and cause brain damage. I had a bunch of blood tests done and all they found were high cholesterol and the elevated liver enzymes. I had a hair ysis done and that showed very low levels of zinc and cobalt and slightly low levels of magnesium. I had so many different things tested in my blood I can't list them all here, but what are some things that should or could be tested for to determine if I have metabolic encephalopathy or what is going on?

I am asking for advice from anyone... we have been married going on two years - second for both of us. My problem is that about every other week my husband gets into this mode where all aspects of his life just suck and he has so many issues to deal with and he just doesnt know how he is going to get through it all...Work, two teenage kids, an exwife, the weather etc. He often vents about these issues with me and will also send me long emails listing out everything in his life that is causing him stress. Me, being the nurutring type, will listen attentively, soothe, encourage, offer my perspective and even offer suggestions at times. I spend a lot of emotional energy on this. So much it seems that it backfires on me. After he dumps and I seem to "absorb" all his problems, hes done. And I get resentful and angry. Why is that? So, a few months ago, my mom started telling me about her friends' sons that were going to start working for her. I didn't really think much about them until I actually talked on the phone with one of them. I am 16 and he is 19. When I talked on the phone with this guy, he started trying to hook me up with one of his friends as a joke because he knew that I was really not dating anyone. It didn't offend me or anything. Then, there was this gala coming up and my mom and I were going to go together because my dad did not want to go and so the night of the gala, we had dinner with my mom's friends and their sons (the guy I was talking about earlier). We didn't talk much at all that night. So, I went to the gala and had a fun time and still didn't think much of this guy. I found out that he was doing this internship type thing with the police department and so, a few weeks later, my friend and I went to this hot air balloon festival and he was working there. We saw him and my mom went and talked to him for awhile. I didn't say much to him besides that I was cold and he offered me his jacket. I politely declined and he told me that he wouldn't have given it to me anyway. Then, that night, we decided to go the night hot air balloon show and my mom and I once again had dinner with this guy and his parents. At dinner, he sat next to me which was no big deal but he was sarcastic all the time. When I left, I started really liking him because I am also a sarcastic person. After this, I wanted to start spending more time with him but I didn't know how to bring it up. So, I asked him on the phone if he would want to do something with me. He said that he would and he started texting me. We ended up going to laser tag and I brought one of my friends with me so that it wouldn't be as awkward. We had a fun time at that I began to like him more and more. Then, Halloween had started to come around and my friend and I decided to take this guy Chipotle burritos at the hospital (where he works). He was excited about it and everything which was good and he liked the burrito. He also joked around a lot during this time. But, at the end when I left, he grabbed my wrist and put a salt shaker in it which I thought was really weird. So, I asked him why he did that and he told me he didn't know. Then, on Black Friday, I went shopping at a mall at midnight and he was there. This time, we didn't talk all that much. We spoke a few sentences to each other and went our separate ways. But, only an hour after I left, he texted me and told me that I looked really nice and it really made me mad because he didn't tell that to me in person. In between all of these get togethers, we have been texting a lot and he is totally different over text than he is in person. In person, he is sarcastic and not serious at all but in text he is really sweet and nice. Don't get me wrong, there have been some sweet moments in person too but not nearly as many. Like, one night we were texting and I fell asleep and when I woke up, it was late but I answered the question he texted me before and he asked me what I was doing awake. I told him that I woke up because I had a dream that someone had kidnapped me and he told me that he would never let anyone kidnap me. I thought that was really sweet. But, when I saw him in person after that, he complained that I texted him so late at night. It really confused me. He is also one of those guys that are flirty in nature and I never know if he is intentionally flirting with me or doing it by accident. Back to the age difference, we are three years apart, but he constantly tells me that I am really mature. And, technically, I am not supposed to date him because it could cause problems for my mom's job because she is his boss and it would not look good for the boss' daughter to date one of her employees. Also, back to the guy he tried to hook me up with at the very beginning...He goes to my school and I see him a lot. So, he is still trying to hook me up with him by telling me that this guy is texting him all the time and saying that I am really hot. Also, when I saw the nineteen year old guy, he told me that the guy he is trying to hook me up with thinks I have a cute but. I don't know if he is just saying or if the guy is really telling him this. But, to make things more confusing, my friend and I are going to the Killers concert in January and I told this guy and he said that he wanted to go with me. So, that was fine with me. So now we have the concert planned. But, it seems like I am the one that always has to plan everything. Hit and run, parked car, 17 years old, consequences?

I hit a parked car the other day and didn't leave a note as I was panicked and didn't know what to do. My car axel was broken so I had to park it across the street from the car I hit. Then the day after, my car was towed in by the police and impounded. I then proceeded to turn myself into the police and gave them full details as to what happened. They told me to somehow get ahold of the person whose car I hit and get them not to prosecute by confessing to them and paying for the damages and maybe a little extra. Therefore, I left a note on their car telling them to call. Where do I go from here? I admit my mistake and am completely remorseful and mortified. I will never fail to leave a note ever again I'm just not sure as to what happens next. If they don't prosecute, will I still have to face court? Nothing was really explained to me in detail. Also, we are not sure if my car is even worth picking up due to the broken axel and it was really a piece even when we bought it. Oh and the car I hit was old and I didnt leave a dent just scratches. Worrying way too much?

Is there such a connection between depression and "falling out of love" or at least the feeling. I have depression and anxiety because of some semi traumatic family stuff that happened over Thanksgiving (or at least my psychiatrist concluded) I am seventeen and on Zoloft. I have developed this crazy anxiety over losing my boyfriend, or mainly even losing feeling for him. I get in these waves where most things with him are unsettling and unfamiliar, I dont feel ual, I am not interested in doing anything besides watching tv and I get really nervous, cant look him in the eye, and cant really have a conversation with him. I also get really nit picky. This makes me feel horrible, it is my worst fear, having this all not be real. But just as I start to believe it all, I just snap out of it and feel all of my love and am not too nit picky, I feel comfortable and close. Its not perfect but it feels like a real relationship, and I feel more grounded and such when I'm in a good place. Can depression do this, or am I simply falling out of love. We have been together for a year and a half, and this started around December, along with all of my other weird depression/anxiety feelings... any help?

Celtic and Saxon is even harder to pin down than the vikings. If your family hails from anywhere from Spain up through Scotland, you can at least claim to be Gaelic. Saxon I can't guarantee and there could be some Teutonic in there as well as Roman.

Make sure you are up to the challenge of owning a blue and gold... they require a LOT of attention and can live for up to 75 years. they can be loud, they WILL bite its just a matter of who and when. Lot's of cleaning and a lot of spending time with them... and if you go on a vacation it can be hard to find someone to care for them while your gone. so just be sure your ready. and if you have to give them up one day because you cant handle it anymore you can make them go insane because they will consider you as their mate.

Some of you already know about my family cirstances -- My sister is dying of congestive heart failure after suffering multiple strokes back in '04. The congestive heart failure came about just recently, she has pretty severe edema, had bloodwork done, and the diagnosis of heart failure was officially made. My parents have been her caregivers for 3 years in April. It's been exhausting for them, of course, but we have tried to help whenever possible. On top of crying off and on about my sister, I am now faced with stressing over my Dad's new health issue/s. He's having a colonoscopy done soon. I was at my parents' house earlier today, and on the table were instructions for the days before his test... along with a brochure about colon cancer. When I heard about his main symptom a couple of weeks ago (perhaps less), in the back of my mind was the C word, but I just didn't want to think about it. However, when I saw the brochure, naturally I'm silently screaming. :(

I am currently looking into child care and am looking into all the different disabilities. I came across dyslexia and felt like a click happened.
